When families are in crisis, immediate, coordinated support can mean the difference between stability and long-term harm.

The Black Canadian Child and Family Services Society (BCCFSS) works in partnership with Friendly Times Community Connections (FTCC) to ensure Black children and families receive both protective child care services and comprehensive wraparound support during times of crisis.

​

While BCCFSS focuses on child and family stabilization, Friendly Times Community Connections leads the delivery of wraparound services, including crisis coordination, resource navigation, and community-based supports.

​

Together, we ensure no child is left without care and no caregiver is forced to navigate crisis alone.

Through This Partnership, Families Receive:

• Emergency child care placements for children ages 0–15
• Immediate stabilization support
• Trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
• System navigation and advocacy
• Access to housing, food, transit, and essential resources through FTCC wraparound services
