About Our Child Care
At Black Canadian Child and Family Services Society BCCFSS, we provide more than child care. We create environments where children feel safe, supported, and deeply valued for who they are.
Our programs were created in response to a real gap. Many children, especially Black children and children from diverse backgrounds, do not always experience care environments where their identity is reflected, understood, and affirmed. At BCCFSS, we are intentional about creating spaces where children develop a strong sense of self, belonging, and confidence from their earliest years.
Through our home based child care program, camps, and school age supports, children are cared for in nurturing environments that balance learning and play while supporting their overall development.
We understand that every child develops differently. Our approach is relationship based and strength focused. We meet children where they are and support their growth across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
